With the recent news of coronavirus, Knockomie are taking all measures possible to avoid the spreading of germs within the Inn and to help guests & patronsfeel more at ease during their stay or visit to the bar or restaurant. We are still operating as normal and should anything change, we will of course make all of our guests and patrons aware of this. You can also click the link HERE for the latest Government advice or HERE to read the latest information from the official NHS website. Let’s approach this with a unified front and look out for each other’s health and wellbeing.
Proper sanitation measures are always of upmost important to us at Knockomie and we are cleaning the Inn even more so throughout the day and between reservations, particularly on surfaces to avoid germs being spread. All equipment, cutlery, crockery and glassware is also being sterilised and cleaned thoroughly. Our chefs are also all wearing gloves.
We completely understand a lot of guests will be looking to postpone and reschedule bookings & reservations during this time, and if you do feel unwell, we do advise to cancel your stay or visit, which you can do by contacting us via phone, email or direct message on our social media platforms. We also ask that guests & patrons please pay by card instead of cash if able to do so, in order to avoid handling cash as much as possible.
All of our team are washing their hands religiously, using the technique of washing hands under warm water for 20 seconds or more. They are doing this before and after each sitting and also after cleaning up tables, bar counters and public areas.
We ask that shaking hands and hugging is also avoided in the Inn for the time being but rest assured our team will still be their same friendly selves and you will always be greeted with a smile and warm welcome!
We value your co-operation and are happy to chat through any of your concerns,
