With a rich array of arts, crafts, food and handmade gifts of many kinds, our area makes for a delightful Christmas shopping experience this year. The quality of goods is also well matched by some wonderful winter locations, from castles to traditional markets that make a refreshing break from the usual high street stores.
Here are just some of our favourite retailers and locations for Christmas gift shopping in North East Scotland, including Elgin, Fochabers and other destinations near Inverness. Don’t forget, should you fancy a festive afternoon tea or perhaps a well-earned festive or Hogmanay escape, Knockomie Inn offers a warm welcome from the cold.
