To all Knockomie friends and customers
During the last 33 years we have been at Knockomie, we have faced various challenges, big and small including two gulf wars, foot and mouth disease, the terror attacks of 9/11, SARS and the closure of RAF Kinloss to name a few and have come through them all by being supportive of each other.
This is a concerning and unprecedented time for all of us and it is with a heavy heart and great regret that following the UK Governments announcement on Friday 20th March we, along with many other hospitality establishments will suspend activities for the foreseeable future in the interests of public health.
This is based on the instruction of the government to advise members of the public to refrain from non-essential travel and avoid social gatherings and visiting places such as pubs and restaurants.
We believe that this is the responsible decision to take in the current climate to minimise the risk of the Coronavirus being spread. We will reopen again as soon as we are able to do so and will contact our future guests in good time if we are unable to honour their bookings.
We don’t have a crystal ball and cannot predict the future. We will follow government guidance as to when we re-open. This situation is tragic for all concerned and we are sure that if all of us follow the advice we are given that we can return to normal as soon as possible.
Whilst we suspend activities, we will use our time wisely, to re-open with new ideas.
We thank everyone for the kindness and messages of support we have received. Please keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram as we stay engaged with you over the coming weeks.
We hope you will all stay safe and well.
Welcome to Knockomie...
One of the Scottish Highlands most luxury Inns
Knockomie sits comfortably in it's surroundings, with 15 rooms and a gastro dining experience. The Inn has developed over the last 30 years under the guidance of Gavin and Penny Ellis, allowing the experience to develop and change with the seasons.
Having created a new direction, Knockomie is proud to offer genuine hospitality, in an unstuffy manner, yet focus on the traditions of an innkeeper. You must feel welcome, the food must be wholesome and reflect the local produce on offer from local supplier, and you must leave wanting to return.
Our Bar offers real ales and an impressive selection of Malt Whisky, because this is Speyside! You can enjoy this in cosy surroundings or outside in the garden.
Knockomie sets a new direction in Highland hospitality – we hope to welcome you soon.
