Boat of Garten

Designed by James Braid, this course has a reputation of possessing one of the most breathtaking settings of any course in Scotland. It is cut through moorland and birch forest maximising the natural landscape which offers spectacular views of the Cairngorm Mountains and the River Spey. It also adds a touch of nostalgia as the Strathspey Steam Railway runs along its western flank. The course is popular with visitors from home and abroad. It is firmly established as a beautiful and challenging course you must play if touring the golf courses of the Highlands.
