Knockomie's Scottish Highland Walking Holidays
What a beautiful part of Scotland to enjoy a walking holiday. At Knockomie, we can advise you on some of the walks you can do within easy reach of the hotel.
Culbin Forest Walk
The Culbin Forest is the ideal place to get away from it all. You can enjoy gentle walking and cycling on the extensive network of formal and informal trails. The Flowers of the Forest trail takes you through the woods to the beach.
Marked walks are from 1 mile to 4.5 miles if you are feeling energetic!
River Findhorn, Dunearn Burn & Randolph's Leap
There are two walks here, the shortened version misses out some of the best views. Please note that the path teeters on the edge of cliffs for some of the way.
Nairn to Cawdor Walk
This walk follows the River Nairn closely and was only recently opened as an official walk. There are no difficult bits but it can get muddy when wet. At Cawdor the castle and gardens are open to the public during the summer months and they have a lovely tea room.
